I’m a geek so what else I can say.
From days of the old Star Trek to Andromeda , FireFly (Serenity), NCIS ….I love them all especially when they feature of law enforcement, or the military.

Somewhat I am a patriot to the services, even though I am such a wimp and a rebel at the same time, always trying to con my way out of things.

Today, I saw another episode of JAG - Judge Advocates General where the team of Naval Legal Eagles do a bit of Sherlock Holmes and a bit of Matlock, where the prosecute and persue justice. Something reminds me of the good old days in the army.I was a security expert, and yes.. I did my time in jail for my cockups. I was trained in security protocols and loads of other stuff which somewhat I can’t remember now, that I left active service. Things in the military back in Singapore is PURE BULLSHIT. No respect in the command chain, where the civilian is power.

Enuff said,where was I.. JAG:
A case of the guy who was a hero saving his team when a gang of militants attacked the base in Uzbekistan but he was found to be someone else. Petty Officer Third Class ( The rank of a Lance Corporal ) was actually declared dead on 9/11 when he and his business partner perished when the plane hit the twin towers.

He promised to the partner not to let his partner’s wife know what they did…the scam of the venture capitalist, cos all their plans went belly up…markets didn’t recover, especially after the Dot-Com buble burst. Sad though.
Reminds me of alot of sad memories, which I try to forget, of regretting …that I have to bear the pain seeing the next of kin sad…not knowing that their brother/son/husband perished in the training exercise not by war…but by sheer negligence of some of the mates, which caused the whole team to be attacked by crocs.

Those were the stories that were never told. They were only stated as Missing in Action whereas we found their bodies in the river bank..and only heads or which ever parts left…not a whole body.

We couldn’t let the families see this as it hurts them more, so we just bury them in unmarked graves near the river. God .. forgive me for what we have done.

NCIS ( Navy Crime Investigation Service) is a sort similar to the SIB, Special Investigation Branch which the servicemen dread, interrogation can cause death. Known that happens. Alot of cover up especially if that involved high level officers, and even corruption still exists, in clean Singapore. It’s a hush hush.

Like my ex-wife said, everyone has their own skeletons in the wardrobe. Just don’t pick them out again to show.
