First..this pop up from my banners…
SELECT command denied to user ’nuffmy_nn20′@’192.168.1.9′ for table ‘cookie_session’
Cannot find /user/home/nuff…………(hidden)
OUCH! That hurts! I had a stinger here…someone was complaining that my site is slow because of this nuffnang thingy..and guess what…the complaints come from Google Analytics , Forbes and Blogsvertise as they wanted to place adverts on my pages.
Come on Tim. I thought you had multiple DEDICATED SERVERS and DEDICATED SERVERS don’t have /user/home as that is only for shared hosting lah bradder. Either someone configured the servers haphazardly or their lied to the customers.
Rule is that dedicated loads their pages from /www mount or /usr/bin/apache or similar in Linux *(CentOS is the favorite as it’s FREE and easy to install) or in the case of Windows Based… it’s c:\inetpub directory….
Why I have to mention this?? Because alot of customers are fooled by so many hosts that they just provide Shared Virtual Private Servers (VPS) on their servers. Cheap does not mean it’s the real deal.
Me? My network is placed on 800MBps Cisco Load Balanced, DDOS Firewalled 16 Chassis of 19 blades of 4-Quad Core CPU Blades with 32GB of RAM on each blade.
With a total of 30Terrabits of processing and data transfer at one go, I could whip off about 750TB of Data within the hour or so…
That ..for just about USD10K a month..
So Tim, Raff..what the fish have you guys been doing?! Cam Whore again huh?
wow.. thanks for the info. anyhow, you got dedicated server[s] dat need u to pay USD10k/month? i really impressed about dat..
