NCIS on my iPOD

Well, it was THE day I tried out my iPOD video 80GB *(The Older Version 1.2.3 Model MA450FB) to load up with TV Shows. I downloaded NCIS Season 4 Episode 1 (can’t find the 2nd one) entitled SHALOM.

In essence, the 48 minutes play is downloaded into 505MB file, which by far, a quick thing to download using TM Net’s Streamyx 1MB system. It’s really fun compared to have nothing to watch. You can actually convert your videos into MP4 Format too, and surprisingly, it took me less than 40 minutes to download 500MB of file. Now I am downloading the WHOLE Season 5 of NCIS for $39.95 and getting the season pass of Prison Break.

Well, 80GB by far is equivalent of ONE SEASON (about 150 standard hourly episodes) but the runtime would be about 100 Hours of Good Video viewing time. With the additional RCA Cable, I can plug the thing into my TV for playback, but the cable itself cost about $100 or on eBay for about RM30.

One sacrifice I had to make was…my whole playlist was GONE. Absolutely GONE. No Recitations, No Quran, No Yasin or songs.I lost mine all on the old playlist, which was a sad thing to happen because of the lightning struck my router, which also killed my USB port and stuff.

And so, the verdict: clear crisp pictures on the small screen. I have not tested it on VGA port to the telly yet, so I will try it out later on. First, I wanna try out the Photo Importer USB connector.
