Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 Enterprise Edition

Very much disappointed by the concept of Virtual Server 2005.

“, “I honestly though that Microsoft hit the jackpot this time with Virtual Server 2005 R2 offering Virtual Clients are absolutely a waste of time.

What it is , virtually an EMULATOR for people to try play about in the server, ie: trying out without having to make images or hard install.

Good if you are testing your enviromental variables but it needs more juice.

I really thought Microsoft Virtual Server gave an extra lease of life to older computers, by doing remote client service etc, or am I missing something here?

Note: We fooled about with installation of Windows XP Pro SP2 and Knoppix.
Knoppix doesn’t like it well.
