Lexmark little cheats (part 2)

This is the PART 2 of the LEXMARK X9350 (44/45) experiment which made me a lot more of a mess than I thought I should be doing. Basically it’s a real tosser and well, I SCREWED UP.

I should have listened to some of the jokers that the 43 Color is made up of compartments and is more a hassle and dangerous than the 44 Black Kit which is just a simple drill and fill. Well, the errata:

You Need to PRY open the lid.
You do so by using a good Chef / Kitchen knife to pry it open. First use the SHARP tip of knife to pry the lid center where there is a little protrusion by hammering the tip to the protusion. Then use the CENTER of the knife and align the knife sharp edge to the gap between the lid and the canister. Crack it open. Then you can see the holes, and thus, refill as the instructions.

Cost wise? RM60,which lets you refill about 3 times, so it’s cheaper. But messier. Worth it? No, for me, since I messed up. But I can still use the method to add MICR tainted ink.
