I got fed up with the controllers and what can I do?”, “I honestly got fed up with my FREECOM 80 HDD External USB2 which I got last year and I must admit, I am an impatient person.

However, after the week’s trial of XP and its crappy drivers etc,I actually found out that THIS FREECOM actually FRIED MY NSLU,*(LinkSys Network Storage Unit) and after a while, I got irritated.

Windows XP keep giving me blue screens *(Not good rite:?) everytime I plug it in..even with a USB2 port.

What did I do…I said final goodbyes to the case and PRY IT OPEN. Brutal Opening using the tab slots and a Test-Pen (aka small flathead screwdriver).

I pierced the FREECOM DVD-/+RW drive I had and tested the HDD on this controller, see if the controllers gave me the fuss….

And you know what?! It worked… so now I’m gonna do and run some tests and see if I can manipulate this controller.

What I wanted to do? a Multi-Disk iNET Storage Unit with RAID5.

Something in the region of 400TB? High Hopes eh?
