Drink up

Thursday 1 February 2007 @ 8:17 pm

I had been complaining to my wife about being lethargic and tired for no reason of late. She, in turn, suggested that maybe I should take Energy Drinks Energy Supplements for it. Well, come to think of it, I don’t really take much supplements before, and no exercise whatsoever, too. I eat whatever I like, and probably that is catchig up with me. Do you think? But anyway, as I was browsing through, I saw that energy drink, xenergy cran|razz, and I thought whoahhh…. mighty interesting. Cranberry AND raspberries (I assume) would make that drink interesting, to say the least. I know it would definitely wake me up (from the tangy cranberries). And definitely tasty. Raspberries would make sure it does, don’t you agree?

Respond to Jeff Davis

Thursday 1 February 2007 @ 5:34 pm

I have been akin to blog advertising since 1994, and back then, we use text links and such, and why now we make so much fuss??Back then, advertisers comprise of Amazon,Books.com,Microsoft who pays shares instead of cash (or barter trade). Now with advertising so much to the net, PPP just takes it another step forward. If Jeff Davis is so much a veteran in this, why not take it against Microsoft, Google, Commission Junction and so forth?
Heck, yes I did get paid more in those days with those programs, and we can pick and choose better than now,cos there are so many places to put our ads on.It’s comparing an egg to the full roaster if you get what I mean.

I dare stick my neck out for PPP and similar programs cos they bring the advertisers to the goodies, and in turn, they get sales, we get commissions too!

I think Jeff Davis is just sore he was not on the early bird of the bandwagon. That’s all to it, just like the times pple say Microsoft’s SBN (SiteBuilderNetwork) won’t take off. See now who’s laughing?! And Microsoft still pays the best in the advertising sector, crap or not.

So, if you go and write a post and without indicating you are sponsored, yes it’s wrong, but alot of times, there are clear indications of being sponsored itself being there… like the existance of banners and …ads

What a loser

Dinner’s on me…

Wednesday 31 January 2007 @ 11:07 pm

We had dinner at Manhattan Fish Market the other night, and the food was not up to par for what we had to pay. Then I read about Zingara Cucina, and I am kinda intrigued. They would be serving scrumtious sounding menus, but no specific location for it. No restaurant, is it? How different, I would definitely say. The wife would certainly love it. Now I only have to look for a babysitter for Tia. If only :D

Flintstones

Tuesday 30 January 2007 @ 3:02 am

Flintstones… Meet the Flintstones,
They’re a modern stoneage family.
From the town of Bedrock,
They’re a page right out of history.

I need to look for Halloween Costumes for Tia this year. And I think this would look cute on her. Yes, I know it is supposed to be Fred’s, but who cares, right? As long as it look cute, I am all for that!. Especially if it would look cute on her, I mean :D
Maybe I need to buy one for me, too. Hmmmm…..

And this Pirate Captain’s outfit looks…well, rather me. Cos I was nicknamed the Pirate King when in the undergrad days…cos I pirate anything I can…software wise I mean.

And this accessory will look just fine with a Pirate’s Outfit. Just as how in Pirates of the Carribean : Dead Man’s Chest..

My PPP Most outrageous Concert

Sunday 28 January 2007 @ 1:48 pm

Just in case the Sound don’t work!

I was at the Underground Gig at French Singapore Institute, the Jurong Engineering Faculty. It was fun, it was cold (the AC is flipping a killer!) and there was skin heads and lots of underground gigs. All was fun, till Break time. We had the concert running from 12PM to somewhat, 8PM, yes, we are at a fun raiser. Loads of crowd!

And ..I was the Organising Team, specifically, Head of Security. I ain’t no big sized, just a 24″ , 5′3″ high Geek, and …guess what.. I had to break up loads and loads of cat fights! Essh. The guys gave no problems, just watch one corner….see these bitches bitch their way thru… and fight. Some …was nasty… that jealousy took over. That tore each other’s clothes off… You get the drift…and I …got stabbed… by whatever they had. Those were GIRLS ok?! 18 year old adolesents.

I wore that day Demin Jacket, and till now, I still have that. The tear and much more. What else can I say. My most Outrageous Gig Concert we had. All underground. Even Art Fazil who was starting out then performed. Too bad I had no camcorder to record all that. 8 hours Non Stop Gig!

Imagine that. That was my most Outrageous and Memorable PayPerPost Concert of my life! That was 14 years ago!

Just in case… the video can’t work, that is my commentary..and I can’t express all that over 45secs rite?

[kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/3AibGvpz79U" width="425" height="350" wmode="transparent" /]

Just you ask, why it was so memorable…cos there was where I met my first love. I was a Nerd and a Geek! It was worth the hassle!@

A PPP Sponsored Post

I changed the whole video…so I don’t know if there is problems

Card my name….

Saturday 27 January 2007 @ 2:00 pm

I received a business card from Astro, while browsing through some items over at Tesco’s Penang couple of days back. Looking at it, it pretty much look like other business cards out there. Simple, with usual informations : name, work specs, address and contact number.

I don’t use business cards. Why? I don’t work directly with consumers, ditto not needing business cards. So I never bothered getting one done. But that does not mean that I would turn away an opportunity for free business cards, now would I? Should I turn away free business cards offers, now that would make me quite ignorant, I say :D

Are you sure?

Saturday 27 January 2007 @ 1:25 pm

Well, WireFly took to the task and responded to our queries of the poor line of choice Our Fellow Americans have, The Choice of cell phone of course. It’s bad enough coverage for GSM 1900 (WCDMA or otherwise) is restricted to 15miles coverage per cell station. Meaning , only Metro Areas. Despite that, they whipped out their hidden stash.
And here are our choice of cell phone that we like.

Starting with….
Drum Roll Please……
