Finitto! Gotcha at last… you sneeky little data.
Lousy little FREECOM¬
", "Like I was saying before here about the Freecom HD that I was facing blue screen every time I plug that miserable hard disk in, and then I tried with the DVDRW controller.
It still does it.Somehow …I have to Safely Remove it and then unplug the power source, flush the cache etc and then plug the power and USB in that order..and I need to reboot my OS..so all much.. Freecom. ..yr drivers are a real pain in the ass and as such, I hereby discourage anyone from using FREECOM External Drives till otherwise told.I bought that silly thing somewhere 2005/March or so and the HDD is made in 2004 Feb or so…thus eliminating the risks of the HDD being kapoot so easily.
To top it off, I ran out of facia and drivebay in my IBM Netvista that I have to be abit crude in the installation : ie Haphazard install, meaning just fix it as long it fits.SO..I’m gonna try and put some photos to this commentary and since this is my R&D for the day and even though it is 0330hrs GMT, I better report this down before it left my brains later this morning.I sill keep the USB controllers still so I may have an alternative if I can pinch a huge hard drive for my next project, ie: Network Storage.
as I said… this is the inside controller…(part of it)
