Announcing PayPerPost Direct

Yes, finally they made some changes to the Marketplace that is warmly welcomed by the Postie Community. If you have not noticed, my Hot Red Flaming Orange icon has replaced the Blogger’s Choice Awards logos…mainly being me…not be able to win any award. So, I may be NOT the worst blogger…but their reasoning don’t justify it!

Come back to the PayPerPost Direct. It works just like REVIEW ME, for those who are familiar to it, knows that Reviewme takes a huge cut from the earnings, 50%. So whatever price you or they set, you take only half! That is alot of dosh for some blog advertising campaign.

Me? I set my price to $20, mainly because that is minimum wage required to research and write about a good product. 3 hours at £5.75 (US$12) works to about $35…but I know I’m working at lower than the Legal Minimum wage. For the fun of it of course.

Now that PayPerPost introduces this, I have been told that they take 10% of the Gross Price, meaning $2. And yeah…I know Paypal smacks a high rate for credit card processing so that price barely pays the bills for them, hoping that you as an advertiser will stay on and advertise with the network and me..hoping to snag a few nicely paid opps unless you bench me aka timeout. Unlike before where I can be banned for anything (I saw one because I No-Followed the links after 30 days)

So instead of banning a person for no good reason, you can ban someone from taking your opps for 30,60,90 or 120 days by benching them, so that you have the time to run your campaigns fully without them snagging more of your “not for bloggers who took my opp within 60 days”, because your urls are not specific and people did not notice that. Hey…clearly state the promo code instead or adv code if you wish.

Anyway, I do hope I get something from this,as I don’t do anything for ReviewMe at all. And now they have removed Technorati due to the way they rank stuff by ‘Authority’ meaning number of sites linking you, the marketplace gets better. Oooh, new terms for PPP, the Blog Tender is called Marketplace..where you snag any opps.

Plus the fact that we now have SIX HOURS to complete a post (I will still stick to one….just in case it goes CaCa) gives us great time to complete a research and do a nicely read posting.

So there we go folks…. PayPerPost is taking sides…ours. Way to go Ted.
