From my review at http://www.MarlindaRadzi.com/?p=825, I must really now get that new cell phone for the wife, cos MarTeeTa has gone kidnapping….or PhoneNapping that is.Phone Napped Tia’s Hello Hello.
So eventually, I had to rewrite a nice review for our friend at WireFly, who said they will sponsor me that one of their best selling cell phones in the market, the Motorola RAZR. Yes. This one in particular:
And my apologies to Wirefly for that trashy review I wrote earlier on, was real haphazard too. Being sick and busy doesn’t cut it, I know. But I must say, that our american friends have less choice in the GSM world, as they are predominated by CDMA and TDMA carriers like AT&T,Verizon, Sprint and the works. Thus why main reason why our global markets of cellphone don’t get into the US market due to the GSM1900 availability issue, compared to the Global Standards of GSM 900Mhz and PCN 1800Mhz.
But I will see that the iPhone will be a popular one in the US. And those with 3G capability,Email and everything in it will do the best as how it was back in 1998. Back then no one in the US know what Texting or SMS (Short Message Service) was, all till the American Idol kicks in and everyone started voting using SMS. Those with WiFi and addon capability will prevail further with the addons like SKYPE and alike makes it more useful.Cheaper calling rates. What I see is that users will publish their SMS Capable VOIP phone number, and when he is in a WiFi zone, answers all calls on his cellphone thru VOIP, and when he is not on a HotSpot, reverts back to Cellphone calling.
That’s my 2c worth though.
Advertiser, please comment, if my prediction is good enough for the year.
Though, I don’t fancy it that much, cos it’s a flip phone and without any WiFi or 3G Video Calling, it is sleek though. Not as sleek as the KRZR that I mentioned earlier on. That comes with a RM1699 price tag here. Nah too expensive. Not that I won’t get it for Valentines Day or what, cos the risk of Tia grabbing it, and well, putting it out of commission.
