Gamat?

Monday 18 February 2008 @ 7:45 pm

Well, My thought is that Gamat is just for eating till a friend of mine told me to develop their platform in anticipation for their new TV Campaign in March. Well, in comparison to the competition, this product is actually far cheaper, about less than 25% off than the leading brands just because it does not get as much publicity as the competition nor does it participate in the Multi Level Marketing like the rest.

Anyway, before their prices gets up, you might as well grab the chance to try out their product. The official price is RM47 in Malaysia ( RM57 for Sabah and Sarawak ) or S$30 for BRUNEI but I asked them for their PRE-TV Launch price of RM30 delivered FREE for within Kuala Lumpur area. Others will have to fork out RM5 unless you are in Penang or Kulim.

As for our friends in Singapore, this product is ALLOWED to be brought in and you can’t get them down the shops as the elusive sellers themselves sell them to their exclusive club for about RM40 or so. We can get them to send it to Singapore though…but the minimum order is 3 boxes.

Well, look and see… Seagold Gamat. Pearl of the South China Sea.

Dextro Metrophan …..yummy..cough Cough!

Monday 18 February 2008 @ 7:24 am

I have been under the weather recently and well, let’s put it in this perspective, sometimes when the local medication did not work…. you have to find something else…. To my friends in Singapore, they are so accustomed to this concoction from the Government aka DMP. A cheap fix for those drug addicts in Malaysia as it’s actually banned in Malaysia..for it has really drowsy effects…which is really a quick acting medication.

Yes, I kind of snugged this in during my recent trip back to Singapore as I knew I am already kind of immune to the local concoction of Bena and other weak stuff.

Heee heee…

Well, that is a little chemistry and business aspect for me….

A sad little story

Friday 15 February 2008 @ 9:03 pm

Actually I was inspired by Dr G C George and reminded of the horrors of child abuse. It really reminds me of the real thing happened to my own neighbour back home in Singapore when I was still living in Jurong West St 41, which I think I was in my undergraduate days.

It’s actually sad to hear that Parental Abuse kept on happening, and when I heard the news back then that the neighbour’s TWO YEAR OLD SON died ..it was a tragedy. Something I can’t get my head off, with so many blunt force traumas to the head..and body..it was a little body with so many bruises and that the child had to go through an autopsy is something cruel.

Like everyone then was suspecting of the father, whom was a drug addict, and that everyone speculated till it was actually found out in the open that the MOTHER was the murderer. I don’t know what was the sentence, maybe Manslaughter charge, Life in Prison, Maybe Death Penalty, but that child don’t deserve it.

And in the story of Kelsey Briggs, it was a step father. And the mother whom allowed or conspired this to happen. It is really sad that because the mother is upset with someone, something or maybe the partner, they don’t have to start off landing the child.

Abuse can be anything. Verbal abuse. Physical Abuse, Psychological whatever. No parent should be made to bury their child, especially a toddler or even still a baby. I really cry for the father who fought hard for the Country only to return to bury his only child. A cute cuddly daughter. Which I could imagine what will go through my mind if I loose my daughter and in itself, I may get into a vigilante mood and murder who ever did it. To loose a partner is already cruel, but to loose the child…is something else.

Signs of Child Abuse is simple. I was made to learn it while I was in Military Medicine. The child will always go and sought comfort in the person who did the lesser of the evil or that anything should happen, they go running for that person. Mothers can get into a destructive swing after their first newborn, for many reasons. But that typically go off after the next.

Do watch out for child abuse with many things to look out for.

Stand by your tissues and wipes… as this is a sad story. Rest in peace. Our Prayers are with you dear Child…

£25 congestion charge for London

Friday 15 February 2008 @ 12:03 pm

Whoa dear..blow me down. First it was £5, and then £8 …and now the Mayor of London announced that the congestion charge will be £25!

That to the dear Malaysian is about RM200! Which it reminds me of the Scandinavian Road Bridge in Denmark which cost almost the same and so as the Tunnel from Copenhagen to Malmo per way!

I seriously hated that because I myself have a couple of Warrants from Bow Court for NOT PAYING the charges on a daily basis…but it’s getting ridiculous! Parking alone there cost about £4 an hour which is like RM30! It’s bad for the driver..because mainly they can frigging afford it. It was told that the charges will be more if the engine exceeds 3000cc!

What this relates to our Malaysian friends is that the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur actually thought of that aspect, other than smacking people with RM100 fines for dodgy parking antics. They were actually thinking of the same thing what island city of Singapore doing, Electronic Road Pricing in favour of Toll Roads. Singaporeans pay as it is, about S$28 per way from Woodlands to the CBD + parking rates at peak hours, morning and evening!

Will you actually pay RM200 just to drive into DBKL roads…or will you hit the public transport?

You Choose!

Told ya Election is here!

Wednesday 13 February 2008 @ 11:07 am

I was not that far off when I announced a few days ago that the MALAYSIA ELECTION IS HERE!

So, I was off by a few days… like a week or so, but the election date is said to be done during the March School Holidays..so cancel that plan to go for an overseas trip with the family and do your duty…as the roads will be busy anyway.

What are the odds??

CHAK GO MEH is the Nomination day +/- 2 days

First week of March is the Holidays…. and Voting Day

1st April will be the date the price of Petrol will increase by 60sen!
Either that is an April Fools joke by those jokers or…a nightmare!!

Who will you pun will be the majority?
Will Barisan lose more than a point (percent) than the last Election?
Will Anuar make a comeback?
Will…. Dr Mahathir contest to his seat?

Speculations make things bad for the Stock market and Forex.

Paid as you sell

Tuesday 12 February 2008 @ 7:28 pm

Well, Saiful was telling about this new brand of advertising which is just another cash-and-carry system, where the publisher gets paid immediately upon placements of their advertising campaign! Which means, no more waiting for 90days to be paid for an ad run like anyone…or at least 30days by text link ads.

How it works?
You register your blog. (own domain preferred)
You set a price for the media you willing to sell (leaderboard, Skyscraper, Banner , Rectangle)
And then you send your bid price!

The Lower the bid price, means the better the chances you get your inventory sold. There are a few options available:
CPM, where you are paid per 1000 unique impressions,
CPC, Cost per click delivered (don’t try to click your own ads!)
CPD, Cost Per Day run….which is an interesting view
CPV or Cost per 100 Unique Visits (not offered anywhere else!)
Trade, which means you can exchange your traffic to the pool with someone else!

Mind you , this is really going to be hot as they are opening their own Malaysian Office here in Kuala Lumpur! You can opt to get paid by Paypal, but they will be offering payouts in local currency soon.

And the best of all, is that even LIEW CF is already on the network!! Guess you need to work fast!! Inventories are coming in really quick!!

So, what are you waiting for??

SIGN UP NOW!!!

What are they actually like:
A mix of Adbrite and Text Link Ads mixed together, but offering Media Rich content like Flash Videos or anything else. Best of all is that they are BRITISH, LONDON BASED guys who developed this. So forget those static images whatsoever, and place them in. And if you got no inventory, you can place 3rd party ones or even your own in them! Anyones… Even Nuffnangs! (not compatible with alternates anyway)

One thing is that, they are GELIHATI COMPATIBLE..since they are based in the UK/US….And no porn action too! So, be quick about this..as they want another 50 or so from Malaysia and 200 from Singapore. Hurry!
