Bonjour au Paris Mon Ami

Saturday 29 December 2007 @ 7:42 pm

Welcome to Paris, Ille Du France. Center of the French Republic. Notorious for Moulin Rouge. Liberty, Fraternity, Equality. The core aspects of the French Revolution.

I had traveled to France often, particularly to Paris, to hang out, dry out, chill out for the weekend or if I get dull with the English weather. Well, even at 130Km/H speed limit, I won’t even touch that, let alone give the Gendarmerie or even the PAF (Police Aux Frontiers aka French Border Police) the chance to nick me with a 2000Fr on the spot fine on my dodgy old banger,which happens to be ..a Proton Saga. Yeah, the French toll do kill me at times,thus why I love the Belgian or German AutoBahns where there is no toll,unless you are a HGV.

I love to chill out at Disneyland Paris, particularly at the Food Village, specifically Planet Hollywood.The food is great and if I feel tired, the hotel at Disneyland Paris or even any Parisien Hotel are affordable. Formula One is one place I like, mainly it’s cheap and no frills. The Budget Motel / Hotel in Paris. Don’t be fooled by the slang of París Hoteles or even Paris Hôtels which is in FRENCH (Francais) of the travel blogsites, promoting specific hotels.

Doing business in Paris is quite straight forward. With the emergence of the European Markets, the French are one of the LEAST bureaucratic places to do business with loads of funding and grant from the EU Business Chambers. Illegal working is ..well, severely punished BUT getting the paperwork done is plain straight forward. Opening back accounts is also another simple trick, an ID card and a proof of address from the Municipal Office / CEDEX .And off to the local bank to sort the approval out with Banque de France. I have a CIC Account with Banque Scalbert Du Pont, in Calais Cedex. It’s also CLEAN. Paris is…even in the suburbs. I traveled round alot in Paris and even in the RER Zone 4 , things go alive after 10pm,with the cleaners and all out sweeping the roads and taking out the rubbish.

One thing though, if you don’t speak French, don’t try to speak English with them, as they are proud people. Try speaking Chinese or even Malay…and they will try accomodate you by speaking broken English.

And to top it off, here is me being a little bit patriotic to the French cause, for giving me a sound education in Paris.

Allons enfants de la Patrie,
Le jour de gloire est arrivé !
Contre nous de la tyrannie,
L’étendard sanglant est levé. {Rep}
Entendez-vous dans les campagnes
Mugir ces féroces soldats ?
Ils viennent jusque dans nos bras
Égorger nos fils, nos compagnes !

Those who wanna know more, read about La Marseillaise.

PS: The French still hate their tyrants, the English….but there’s no issue if you are Irish,Scottish or Welsh (Celtic).
Listen to the French National anthem

You sorry? So Go naik Lori

Saturday 29 December 2007 @ 10:59 am

UNIKL students taking the LORI SHUTTLE Well these UNIKL students are going to a camping trip up in Kedah and well, they sure look sorry because they have to take the unregistered,unsecured lorry as a shuttle to their campsite / chalet near Penang.

Surely,someone in the management did not do a proper reconnaissance (RECCE) because they forgot that their bus cannot go up and got stuck at the base of the K-Road. It’s a major road..but no lorries or buses allowed up,due to the steep slope and corners.

I’m pretty sure these students are sorry they took the big bus instead of the mini-bus which they could have chartered from Rapid Penang. And the boy wearing the towel sarban was shying away from us because we spotted their secret : a colorful blue pillow…..DURGH!

So, UniKL…next time..plan your logistics properly. Or, go hire a police lorry to go camping.
Thee Hee Hee..and imagine…no cellphone coverage…or phones. A recipe for disaster.

Nufflets?

Thursday 27 December 2007 @ 5:53 pm

To start off, I did a whois check of Nufflets.

About Nufflets
1) It’s owned by a person called NABIL & ZAKI MUBAH STUDYING in University of Bradford, which is shown on another entity’s WHOIS:

Mubah, Zaki
7 Airedale College Terrace
Bradford, BD3 0JS
GB

I have their phone number based on the 192 reverse check.It’s in GIRLINGTON, WEST YORKS, which houses 5 other persons registered on that address.

2) I dig out the company CARA COM MY Media in Malaysia as a business under REG NO 01563864-U CARA COM MY MEDIA
Owned by NABIL FEISAL BAMADHAJ and WAN KASIM BIN WAN KADIR of SETIAWANGSA and GOMBAK respectively.

Registered on 24-07-2006

No business details filed under the LHDN records.

There is no Entity in the United Kingdom for the Business Owners, National Insurance or otherwise. This information was passed on by NCIS to deter fraud.Sorry, I have to check.

3) I’m always giving the fellow Malaysian a chance to prove themselves, but a bunch of Teenagers as a boss… I will see before I call it another flag off,as the name is infringing the namesake of Nuffnang and Advertlets which are..trade and servicemarks.

So, guys… prove yourself please.And I don’t think $50 is easy to earn…unless you are top dogs.

Any other info?? Lets see…
Those who wants the SSM report, please contact me…

PS: I removed the codes because of error in NUFFLETS

I think I need to dig my ears…

Saturday 22 December 2007 @ 5:00 pm

Well, like I said, it was 5.15pm on Eve of Hari Raya….and well, with kinda bad reception, so I might have heard it incorrectly, as my contact in Google analyzed the stats, and there was less than 4% of error in tracking, citing Caching issues or so. Mainly due to the fact that it loaded ShockWave or Flash applications within the ads, it may be the cause that the Singapore Proxy Servers and Malaysia ones loaded them inside, and not requiring the user to load the script and ping it again.

The issue was nn_id which was encoded into the javascript, but that was apparently inherent to US users using IE or AOL users which was IE addon. This was the respond from my friends in Google, Adbrite and Blogsvertise whom I had the privilege to be acquainted with, and helped me to see if I was showing issues,as if there was issues with mine, then there will be issues with them, and they get not paid.

// JavaScript Document
var nn_server = ‘http://synad2.nuffnang.com.my’;
var nn_home = ‘http://www.nuffnang.com.my’;
var w = 728;
var ad_type = ‘leaderboard’;
var nn_id = ‘nn_’ + ad_type;
var h = nuffnang_bid;
if( !document.getElementById( nn_id ) ){

nn_html = " < div style='width: " + w + "px;margin:0 auto;border:none !important;text-align:center;' > \ n” + ” < div style='display:block' id='" + nn_id + "' >< /div > \n” + ” < table id='nnadsfoot' width='100%' border='0' style='border:none !important' height='15px' > ” + ” < tr > < td align='right' valign='top' >” + ” < a href='" + nn_home + "' target='_blank' title='Nuffnang Ads' >< img border='0' src='" + nn_server + "/img/nuffnang_footer.gif' alt='Nuffnang Ads' / >< /a > ”
+ ” < /td >< /tr >< /table >” + “< /div >“;< /code >
document.write( nn_html );
visit = ‘visit’;

var script = nn_server + “/nn_frame.php?bid=” + h + “&ad_type=” + ad_type + “&ref=”
+ document.referrer.replace(/&/g,”||”) + “&sid=” + (new Date). getTime() + “&visit=” + visit + “&l=” + location . href;
document . write(”< scr" + "ipt type='text/javascript' language='javascript' src='" + script + "'>< /scr" + "ipt >“);
}

This was the code forwarded by my kaki up there which I owe them more than a strong cuppa Cafe Latte.The Highlighted was the issue which they presumed there was an error.

Heck, how should I know, I am a geek, but not THAT GEEKY SPEAKY like the chaps back in Shannon Ireland (where the Google’s Lab Rats were) or as knowledgeable as those Cryptologist back in the Dept of Air Force, USA, who loves cracking games and cheats at them or those WP-TESTERS whose passion is for Code (Code is Poetry..yes). Not to mention those cracker jacks working at Cambridge Worldpay and PayPal Brussels who was debugging my mobile API for Windows Mobile 2008.

So hands up if I get things muddled up, but those were the points raised, and I have the email to point that out. Like I said, it may be because they use Emulators, Virtual Machines or Linux kernels which were in development. I have alot of attention recently because I was cussing Western Digital , my first employers while I was in Undergraduate studies, that their 320GB Hard disk *(Caviars) were full of reworks and the LogPull shows it so, that only 298GB of the original 400GB Platter was working due to the unallocated partitioning; thus rebranding them as 320GB after screwing it up 9 times.

So, if anyone getting any issues with the sites, please paste the problems here, so I can send them for analysis and debugging as I am busy with my KEDAI project. I know currently the API CALL for the Google WP-GUM Mapping and tracking analysis were a bit of a jumble as the API_KEY was not working as well as it should be. Its in the TRACT anyway,and likewise, Beta testing in progress.It even shows me that someone was logging in from Bandar Penggaram ,and NONE FROM PENANG ISLAND (which I think is a sidetrack).

Anyway, Like I said, the Analytics came be fuzzy and 5% is acceptable due to alot reasons, like plugins never installed or anything else. Only Critical Criticism was to show embedded GIF89a only as default with ALT TAGS as it will be backward compatible.It will also show on people’s mobile connections, and if the keyword is “ad”, most likely Microsoft will block it, as I did check last week that the nuffnang subdomain synads are banned for unauthorised 3rd party cookie.Who reported it, I don’t know.If it’s still there or not, Wallah..God Knows.

So, sorry if you guys feel hurt, but I did point my stand, and all I care is to make the users NOT to lose even 0.01% as it may be the case that pays the most money to them, by differentiating the bands of payment. Even my own internal ads show a NO SCRIPT with IMG SRC with a randomized function, so every ad is not static (like NO-CACHE PRAGMA) which complies to the IAB requirements.

Just that I wish we can have standard IAB 468*80 Banners so it’s easier to embed onto the posts , in between every post or so, to ensure the best exposure for the advertiser or client Ref to Function(onLoad:) or onFocus function, just like Vizu did, so when someone sees it within the viewable screen, only then it loads.

In essence, Hands up, I made my mistake.Point noted. TRY not to repeat it.Thanks for pointing that out, and thanks for the Missed Call to my US number.And yeah..I did dug my ear because I can’t hear on my iPod properly….and do you think this is The HostGator Ugliest Website Competition?? I think so because I think so…

G’Day Mate, Welcome to Australia

Friday 21 December 2007 @ 5:16 pm

G’Day Readers, and Welcome to Cairns, Australia . This ain’t no AXN’s Amazing Race Asia Season 2 Pitstop. Well, Queensland was a pitstop in one of the previous US based Amazing Race, Sydney I think it was just off the Sydney Opera House I think.

But the views of the the Waterfall off Northern Queensland makes me really want to do another walkabout,in places I don’t know like Noosa (not hangman’s noose I hope) and places least visited by in the Gold Coast.

And I know Brisbane is a real nice University Town with loads of stuff to do, but I would just chill out at the beach, and at least the weather there is more predictable than of the United Kingdom, where it’s gloomy all time.

Anyway, things aside, how can I get more moolah for my trip down under? Maybe if I win Amazing Race…as if. Anyway, Chill out. Merry Christmas.

Tim’s Diplomacy

Thursday 20 December 2007 @ 1:42 am

Well Tim, I have to hand it to you,as a person and as a boss, I am humbled by your dedication towards your job.

From your email, I see the dedication and affection you have for the business. To those who are Kepo, this is what he said:

Hi Azrin,

Sorry I don’t have time to draft a long reply because the internet here is
really really ex and I’m checking Nuffnang webmail now.

From what I see, Yat’s reply to you was VERY RUDE and uncalled for
,especially that threat in the last paragraph. I have spoken to Yat and he
has agreed it was a mistake on his part and said he WILL draft a formal
letter of apology to you for this.

In the mean time, I think having put you through this requires more than
just an e-mail reply from me.

I think MIng is going to e-mail you about this concerning Nuffnang
Singapore but that aside, could you give me the honour of a phone call to
you to explain this? I think you at least deserve aphone call because I
see you as more than just another blogger out there, you’re one of those
poeple who from the start have given us valuable advice and feedback and I
think our relationship is a little more than just Nuffnang-Blogger.
Doesn’t matter wherever you’re located, I’ll call long distance if I have
to.

THe number you have registered in our Nuffnang database is an American
number. How can I contact you and when is the best time (Prefably tomorrow
afternoon when I’m in Langkawi or when I come back from my cruise late
this Friday).

Once again I’m terribly sorry about this.
Will speak to you soon

Unfortunately, the last few posts I made were at times uncalled for, mainly OUT OF FURY and agony, but to say that I am more than just a blogger is something I felt humbled upon. Yes, being labeled WORST BLOGGER OF THE YEAR 2007 in Affiliate Expo London at the same time ,and alongside with the Matrix Performer is something like a Sweet and Sour dish. At one point, I was annoyed by the Singapore Office since they claimed they are separate entity from the Nuffnang.Com. So, OK, it’s YOUR BUSINESS, I have no fiddle with it, but all I was offering was kind of advise to grow further. That is all.

Funny you mention the contact details of mine, which I have a US Toll Free number. Yes, I work as iExploreAsia Medical Group UK and iExploreAsia Media elsewhere (sometimes known as iExploreAsia Financial to those who has my Debit Visacards and AMEX Prepaid Cards) because even though I have many entities like RATree Intra Holdings Sdn Bhd in Malaysia or iExploreAsia Media aka KEDAI-dot-TV in Singapore, we are all ONE COMPANY. No Sister-brother,mother-father but as one Organisation. To integrate and to provide instant requests to purchases are something that is a plus.Even some small time bloggers willing to pay 30c per visit which may land them a good sale or returning traffic. I do, because as I wanted to point to Ming, I paid 5c per Click. And I get back more than that.

Friendship and connections (cables) are worth far more in any sense. Business is now GLOBAL. Cannot just focus on a smaller target, which you must bring forward. Never mind that, we will talk about it over Mocha and Cappuccino so I can get hyper…

Anyway Tim…relax. It’s holidays time.And it’s my treat.

Hope U did not blow everyone’s pay packet at the casino on board the Royal Caribbean .
