Debian Here We Go

Wednesday 24 October 2007 @ 3:10 pm

I am embarking on more R&D projects again, this time with a little tweak of Debian Linux *(same flavour as Knoppix, UBUNTU and the other Linux Flavors based on the DEBIAN KERNEL CODE) to be an Integrated Office Gateway system, boasting IPSec, VOIP, PBX, Voice Recognition system, and much more. All at low cost.

In the business aspect, cost is the key factor of the project with low power usage an more. Initially, it will be based on HDD based PC but in the later stages, it will be converted into a SBC CF-Drive , in other words, from a Single On-Board Computer system, with a CF-Card as the hard drive thru an IDE Adapter which will be able to run on a low power at even basic 12VDC battery and backup system, which is useful for remote systems and Hot Spot zones.

Initial considerations will be at a 1Ghz based CPU with 512MB RAM and 10GB Hard Disk, and connected thru Ethernet and WiFi *(Wireless Fidelity) 802.11G and another 802.11B so as not to toggle the speed restrictions in a mixed system enviroment and implementation of the WDS Technology (Wireless Distribution System / Service) ie a CELL REPEATER SYSTEM for WiFi is another item in the design.

Cost: almost nothing. All Recycled Eco-Friendly PC.

Time Frame : 3 Weeks.

OK, I’ll blog hop more and cuss and swear and gossip abt you guys more. Tell yr baddies to hantam me on their blog oK?

A bit more tweak!

Monday 22 October 2007 @ 7:15 pm

Yeah. I added NUFFNANG ads, as the Adbrite has nothing much for me to say here, and the CPM is not that great anyway….. so You’ll see abit of SG ads and Malaysia ads for Nuffnang and I am seeing more and more ads here and there…and abit of promotion too.

Just I have to see what I can do next.

More Segmentation Woes

Sunday 21 October 2007 @ 3:06 am

I was going thru some crazy time of my life when I saw the new upcoming of Segmentation for people in the Blogging Community who write Paid Posts. As an advertiser, I am sure I want the best exposure for my money, but this is ridiculous.

Currently, PayPerPost segment the blogs by means of GENDER (which I feel is discriminatory), Interests, PageRank, Alexa Site Rankings, Technorati Authority (how popular you are) and Geo Location.

Geo Location is not that great to me, as I am located and based in the United States, but that does not mean my readers are from the US. Likewise. But having to impose the number of daily page view is really, to me , DISGUSTING.

Yes, they charge an arm and a leg for that, and for that they take a huge cut, of 20% of the fees, but does that really convert into real sales?? What is the CTR and EPM ratio does count too as an advertiser, and I feel, that with this resentment with the community (whom alot are too CHICKEN to admit it) they are just becoming just as how other hated companies go.

I am just sad that they have to go down this road. And the cronism… no wonder Single Mom withdrew herself from the Bloggers Choice Award. Don’t blame her.

Anyway, to those attending…have fun and those who think they are getting a free trip to PostieCon …. yeah… Great…have more fun in the air. At least someone is getting a home paid by paid blogging.

I give them an award for working hard. That’s all.

Getting some clicks

Friday 19 October 2007 @ 3:06 pm

I have been reading some affiliate news from many advertisers, some suggesting on a PPC of $0.01 for advertising on Facebook with special targetting and what so ever. With earnings on Paid Blogging now on a low for non North Americans, you should know how hard it is to get traffic now, unless you are a slime greased lying porn star.

So, I was going thru my sis inventory.. and she was doing this Paid Per Click, seeing ads etc, and that I saw the rates were OK. 1,000 unique targetted visits for less than $4.50.. You can buy 10,000 unique TARGETTED LINK with a minimum view of 30 seconds for about $290. That means they really see yr ads etc, and get tracked.

Wanna try… see this one.

Finally , the Vampire managed to restart her life and found out that the money on the web is far better than to work so hard and toil for the Government.

And so… we launch Le RAT, the Internal Blog and scuffles of the crew at RATree Intra Holdings Malaysia which is a division / franchise of the iExploreAsia Group PLC.

Comments and Posts are of the CREW / EMPLOYEES…just like me…not of the Company.
