Go to your PROXY SETTINGS and enter 165.228.133.10 and 3128 as your port.

I am just happy if the service is at par.

Commission Junction Woes

Friday 29 December 2006 @ 6:45 pm

Ok People.
If you did not read it properly…here it is again: http://boards.payperpost.com/viewtopic.php?t=1866

Lots of factors get yr self approved, removed or terminated.
I have been with them a long while..and made quite OK..esp with the 10c a bid on EBAY *(for 30days cookie)

Tricks:

Go and create a SMARTZONE
select which banners you like..*(pertaining to the HIGH PAYING ONES and keywords) …I just take those easy to earn…like webhosting @ $120 a pop.

and then put those smartzone banners on yr site.

I kinda install the smartzones onto my banner server *(phpAdsFree + GeoIP ModPlugin),so the server sees which keywords are in the post, plus the dermographics.

So you wanna show what banner to who.For example, no betting stuff or casinos to US audience; or Switch Utilities service & EBAY UK for UK customers…

The higher yr impressions…the better it is. See the report on the main dashboard?? there is a bar level,so you see yr EPC,CPM and effective earnings per click.

I’m at $45 EPC (Earnings Per Click) since I push for my hosting packages, plus 1c per search on simplysearch for UK,and 10c per bid on ebay.

They look into how much clicks bring much dosh to them, and well, I’m at the level where if I lose my network..I’ll cry..cos they bring in good money.

So get to the panel
See those stuff on the TOP RIGHT HAND SIDE ?? Those are your stats.
These determine the likelyhood of how you bring in the cash

As you can’t be good at all times, try selling those HIGH PAYING PROGRAMS.
Go and Find Advertisers
Sort by Commission Per Sale.
Take the high paying ones.
Take ALL EBAY.

Note, some ISPs allow affiliates to buy a package with your commission intact so you can tell people how good their service is.
I won’t say who…cos it will break my non-disclosure protocols.

See my FotoPage Board…
note of the EBAY icon? It pays 10c PER BID placed

I’m Off!

Friday 29 December 2006 @ 5:52 pm

I’ve forgotten to take time off from my work and despite the erratic ISP problems here…things are getting back to plan.
ANyway,Since I am abit down with hayfever…snort dropping down like no one’s problem, might as well wish all muslims Salam Aidil Adha.
May your sacrifices and faith be accepted by Allah SWT.

Take care. I need some rest.

OsCommerce galore

Friday 29 December 2006 @ 5:38 pm

While I am not that a favorite of osCommerce, it does it’s work well enough rite? with multi plugins and addons, cart controls, there are always afew ways to manually tweak the system.
Like those guys at The osCommerce Cafe, whom I do at times buy their own templates for my customers. Compared to paying just under $100 quarterly is darn cheaper than to flip thru a catalog of templates , of each costing more than $200 a pop is more than what in my books CHEAP DEAL.

And since the The osCommerce Cafe is operated by the author, Myles O’Reily *(I dunno if he is related to the O’reily books), The (for the Idiotic) Programmers Guide to OSCOMMERCE, then they have the authority to say and dictate of what is to be said , issn’t it not?

I took a lead to add on similar to what they have done to my friend’s WebShop selling sweets and more in KL, and I was a real pain when customising the site.So I just take the core to the Content Management System, and edit this…. cut that… plug that service in…and hey… I got MoneyBookers to work!

What I really hate about those carts is the inflexibility to work with currency exchanges and when it goes to PAYPAL, the system don’t wanna accept it. So like I gotta install and comission an API to call XE.COM UCC CGI to convert Malaysia Ringgit to US Dollars. So it’s just a median of RM3.48 to a US Dollar, but if with the reverse is being done, we have to take thru One US Dollar to 4 Ringgits.
So that is a predicament.

And the local system, like in Singapore uses NETS and Malaysians love their MayBank2U …so we have to tolerate all these movements and all.

And so..I learn it’s not as easy to up and running a Cart..so I buy them off the shelf.

I thought they fixed it?

Friday 29 December 2006 @ 5:15 pm

Well, said it on the title.
Even EBAY sent an email to everyone using the system to be absolutely patient with the customers and sellers alike.
50% Capacity restored the authorities claimed. My Foot!
Then why my emails are still sluggish and lots of connection errors.

Even my PayPerPost takes AGES to route.

durgh!
