“, “I wonder how long will it take to get my Wife to notice I messed the codes up again this time on her blog?
See..some CMS and Applications love script… but this freaking pN doesn’t love me when I place the script up the banner!

I might just as well test it in the index.php modules

Just a Quick Note

Monday 27 November 2006 @ 7:07 pm

An Idea just pop-ped into my head.
JomMakan- Powered by Melayu.Eu is my new catch phrase.

I will taruk any food outlet that is not up to par with what is expected.

I will put up guides and pictures to foods and places which is Worth Mentioning. At times, I don’t get paid for it, so if something is interesting, let me know ….and I will go attack!

If you feel the ads are OK…. then visit the sponsors K? If you wish to be in the gang of ‘Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan Webloggers’, please let me know.

Recipes which are made available ..are tried and tested by MarlindaRadzi.Com and it’s associates, and the recipes are posted in the BBS.NU Community Food Council (Forum) in which photos of the recipes are also uploaded into.

But, in the meantime, please bear with me as I am migrating my own Personal Web Logs which was previously on PostNuke to here….. and in a point, it’s a big mess.

Thanks for coming

Azrin

Wah Piang Eh!

Saturday 11 November 2006 @ 11:05 pm

From Auntie Lilian’s Old Archives….
http://chanlilian.net/2005/11/30/indeed-why-marry/

WHY MARRY?!

This one I really laugh like mad….

“, “100% Quoted from Auntie Lilians’ How-to-A-Lian’ pages….

November 30, 2005

Indeed, Why Marry?

Filed under:

  • Life

Minishorts asked Why Marry? two days ago. After two days, I still can’t figure out a one-liner answer.

Here’s my version:

THE HOLY onE

1) God’s will.

2) Legally right.

3) Morally right.

4) Lovingly right.

5) Because mommy said so.

THE BITCHY onE

1) So that we don’t get anak di luar nikah. It is awfully hard to register a child without a marriage certificate, you know?

2) If we are going to live with a man, why not grab the chance to own ALL of his properties. (It just takes one life insurance policy, one name on the EPF’s beneficiary form and in fact, every other forms that doesn’t require you to pay the mortgages.)

3) Saves accommodation costs. (only one roof needed)

4) It is much peaceful without having to reply to those endless, annoying, super kpc questions of “Why aren’t you married yet?”

5) Legal sex is available 24/7 on demand. (i.e. if you are lucky) And you won’t run the risk of getting a bunch of tok kadis pounce on you or even worse, a bunch of si-lais with sambal belacans to stuff up your errm…orifices.

THE REAL REASON?

Hell, I don’t know! I can’t remember why either. The only reason I married my lived-in boyfriend of 2 years was because I wanted little babies because my friends and colleagues got them. I can’t buy them off the shelves (like Angelina Jolie), so……I got married and make my own.

Now, who can tell me why we marry?

(Disclaimer - This is not my typical morally and religious right blog, ok? Take it with a pinch of salt, a spoonful of sugar, a squeeze of lemon and some cili padis.)

So I said to myself.. this really a very good topic opener for me… I for one…must start some flipping fire up.. since my websites ( Like Faces of Kent ) are link-less etc… and you can’t comment… So I can be a Ah-Beng-De’-PhuaChuKang abit today. My added commentary (adding to the rencah lauk-ala-Nasi-Kandar ) is that …now..alot of them..just marry for some stupid reasons…being:

  • Boncit (aka Pregnant)
  • Can’t stand the peer pressure of seeing other friends in Pleasure
  • Had that mindset.. ‘that everyone already coupled up..and I must Marry Die Die’
  • Don’t want to be a living Virgin *(a quite from some people I know)
  • Don’t care if Divorce later on…as long get the license …is enuff
  • Feel great get their Masters (Marriage=being a PUAN)
  • ……..What else I forget.

Never mind my wife gonna be pissing mad when she reads this bitchy memoires of mine… but it’s honest opnion of me…being a person and a professional…seeing even other professionals in the Health Trade… ala-Tangka-Muat. And my advise is… let Nature takes it’s way. He will decide for us.

Network Raid Storage / iSCSI

Friday 3 November 2006 @ 1:35 am

Review of EqualLogic PS300E and Reldata IP Storage Gateway 9200 makes me really happy!
“, “To start off with, imagine 14 * 500GB of Storage space under Raid-10 configurations, giving up to 7TB of storable data is a mind boggling senario.
10 years back and we would just imagine the fact of Gigabyte HDD memory (Hollywood would say Jiga-bits in the movies like Quantum Leap) and we are now in the leap of Terabytes. That is alot of space.
Equate that to almost 1 Million Minutes of MP3 Songs being played ,that’s almost 6944days of non-stop music per TB or approximately 19 YEARS of listening to music! Thats PER TERABYTE!
Now with this baby, it’s capable of 7TB with 14 pcs 500GB SATA Hard disks striped down.

I read that once in April 2006 PC Pro Mag and the cost itself is Oh-My-God! £34,755+VAT
Specs: 3U chasis, 64bit RISC,1GB PC2700 Cache memory , 3 Gigabit Base-T / Mini-GBIC Fiber ports,dual 400W Hot Swap Power supply.

Reldata IP Storage was abit cheaper, but its SCSI. So U can load up to 6 Drives on it, and the cost: £15,300+VAT. Being SCSI, Its output os 80MB/s is not fanciful but having Dual XEON 3Ghz CPU,1GB PC2700 SDRAM ,ADAPTEC AIC-7902 Dual Channel makes me think again.
It has IDE ports, but nah! I rather stick my guns to NETAPP.

For something that is based on Linux, I suppose I could do better.

I was thinking outloud the other day of making my own NAS, having got fed up with the NSLU2 and stuff like that, I could do with my own version.

Fancy 3Ghz Dual XEON with PCI Rising SATA2, Configurable to Raid 10, and well, I was looking forward to this 450TB Space project.Alot to give, but I will survive.
Watch this R&D Space.
Budget: £10,000 all in!
